Mr. Lob
A dj, photographer
and the driver behind weedhopper.com.au Mr Lob has been djing, promoting
and running parties since 1999. This has developed over the
last few years into promotional design, event photography and the weedhopper.com.au
website. Mr Lob loves Thai food, funk music, old school hip hop, creative
beatmakers and performers andhas gone mad for Latin Breaks! Mr Lob
travels regularly, both to dj, relax, catch up with friends and photograph
madly! His favourite place in the world is Chiang Mai, Thailand and
he's crazy about collecting vinyl records, run dmc tshirts and adidas
sneakers!! Also loves cars made in the 1960's!!
Since about the year 2000, Mr Lob has been playing
old school hip hop, funk and breaks gigs all over Melbourne, as
well as at Earthcore in 2005 & 2007, as support for the Stanton
Warriors in Bangkok in 2005 and in various other venues in Thailand!!

Wax Vandal
One
of Melbourne's finest hip hop and funk DJ's, Wax Vandal has been playing
since early 2000, combining hiphop, old and new, with old school funk
and jazz, all mixed with a funky scratch infected style. DJ and producer
for hiphop crews ‘Equills' (Mantra, Whisper) and Diafrix, Wax Vandal
has recently played Big Day Out, Pushover, Earthcore in the Park, Falls
Festival and numerous interstate shows.

Two
Melbourne DJ's who looked at each other one day and said "Man you got some funky shit" to which the other replied "What are you talking about, so do you!".
Since then they have spent many a night listening to and manipulating
original and rare funk, remade breaks and scratchy blaxploitation soundtracks.
Then an idea came to them that maybe they could do some shows around
this. You know they got 3 turntables and 2 mixers ready to go. Are

Lindemon
At 25, this lad has a vast
musical knowledge & an obvious passion for all
beats broken. From 'Blunted' Jazz, Reggae & Hip-Hop, Funk, Breakbeat
to Drum & Bass & back
again.
Having 'cut-his teeth'
in Byron @ the infamous C-Moog club, & various
parties around the area, including his own monthly night, He pulled up
stumps & moved to Melb in 2005 & has since played @
Fractured (supporting Cut La Roc) and Beats Working among others & is
proud to be hooking up with Weedhopper as well. Catch Lindemon
the 3rd Saturday of every month at Murmur, Warburton Lane, Melbourne.

Obliveus/Ob1
Obliveus is well known around Melbourne as part of the awesome Beats Working crew and for having played just about every big breaks, funk and dnb party and Festival there has been over the last 5 years. This man is a powerhouse when it comes to dropping genres, mixing beautifully and keeping the dancefloor real active! Weedhopper is overwhelmed to have a dj of such stature come play at our parties
